CSW Interview
haiz... today abit late for the interview... den kena deducted 5 marks..... actually can get 73 marks.. den become 68... from a 'B' drop to a 'C'..... haiz.... sad sia.... but nvm la.. haha.. lecturer say i v calm... haha.. ai seh.... LoLz.... lucky those qns she asked me i know how to ans ar... got not much pause in b/w.....
Lecturer: Tell me sth abt urself.
Me: I grad from SP in 2005, with a Dilpoma in CPT, specialising in IC. This Diploma has provided me with a wide range of modules tat is related to the chemical industry. Modules like IOChem & APChem enhanced my knowledge in Chemistry. From the Lab Mgmt module, I learnt abt proper lab practises and safety practises in the lab & have put them into use during my lab practicals in sch as well as during my attachment.
Lecturer: U mentioned tat u have put them into use. Can u give some examples?
Me: During my attachment for the 2nd period, I'm attached to the Plating Division of Epson Industrial. I have done analysis work in the lab and help to management the lab. (blah blah... the rest cant rem)
Lecturer: Wat are some of ur strengths & weaknesses?
Me: For my strengths, I'm hardworking, willing to learn. For my 2nd period of attachment, my supervisor has written her comment in my logbook tat I'm a fast learner. I'm dilligent and able to get along well with ppl. As for my weakness, I think i'm easily touched. When I am watching some touching shows, I will get touched easily.
Lecturer: U are required to maintain the lab equipment. Do u think u can do it?
Me: Yes. We have the module called Lab Mgmt. From this module, there are lab practicals where we learnt to calibrate the equipment and maintain them.
Lecturer: We are looking for somebody who is preferably with hard disk drive contamination control experience. Do u have this kind of experience?
Me: No I don't. But during poly, we have a module called Microelectronics Chemistry. For the practicals we are required to carry out experiments in the cleanroom env. We have to take note of the contamination control too. We have to put on cleanroom garment to prevent any contamination of the samples.
Lecturer: Do you have any qn?
Me: Yes. I would like to know if there is any in-house training to provide me with up-to-date skills?
Lecturer: Wat kind of training are u looking for?
Me: Maybe some training on the technical skills. I don't have the hard disk drive contamination control skills. So maybe there can be training on this.

Lecturer say me v calm.. this the gd point. and say tat for the contamination control experience i ans it very gd. bad point is weakness shldn't say sth abt character wise weakness... but i cant think of others la.. so i say this lor.... den oso the last part.. i shldn't say tat i don't hard disk drive contamination control skills. everything was good den gg to end liao say sth negative den doesn't leave gd ending impression.. haha.. overall ok lor.. phew.. make me so scared sia.... wahhaha...
